Halal Recipe for Strawberry Pavlova: Pavlova is a cake whose name is inspired by the name of the Russian ballerina, Anna Pavlova. In 1926-1929, Anna Pavlova visited Australia on a ballet tour. Chef Herbert Sachse wanted to bake a cake in honor of the arrival of the famous ballerina, so he created a dessert that tastes light like ballerina dance moves. But the origin of this cake has been a contention between Australia and New Zealand today as New Zealanders claim that Pavlova was in their recipe a long time ago.
